Jhulan Goswami, India Women’s captain, has been conferred with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for her services to sports.Goswami, 28, is currently the top-ranked bowler in the ICC Women’s cricket rankings with 135 wickets in 114 ODIs, and she is the third on the overall all-time wicket-takers list. She made her debut as a 18-year-old and is now widely considered one of the fastest bowlers in women’s cricket. In 2010, she received the Arjuna Award, the highest civilian honour for sportspersons.Goswami is the second India woman cricketer to be awarded the Padma Shri after Diana Edulji, the first Indian Women’s captain. She joins the an illustrious list of cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag, Bishan Bedi, Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, VVS Laxman and MS Dhoni, to have been conferred with the award.The awards will be presented by the President of India in a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Delhi later this year.

أصدرت لجنة إدارة الإسماعيلي، بيانًا رسميًا، للرد على يحيى الكومي رئيس النادي الأسبق، بشأن تصريحاته عن لاعب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، محمد خليفة.

وكان يحيى الكومي قد صرح أمس، بأنه ضم محمد خليفة إلى الإسماعيلي مجاملة لوالده مقابل بعض الإنشاءات والتجديدات للنادي.

وأوضح النادي الإسماعيلي في بيانه أن القوام الحالي للفريق نال ثقة المدير الفني ولم يجد بين صفوفه أي لاعب يُستوجب رحيله كونه تواجد كنوع من (المجاملة أو المحاباه) مع التنويه أن اللاعب محمد خليفة قد سبق له خوض تجارب احتراف بالدوري الأسباني بجانب اللعب لأندية كبيرة ولديها جماهيرية من بينها الزمالك وأسوان.

يؤكد مجلس إدارة النادي الإسماعيلي برئاسة اللواء أبو بكر الحديدي علي بالغ تقديره واحترامه لكافة مجالس الإدارات السابقة والذين سعوا جلياً لخدمة هذا النادي.

وكان مرتضى منصور قد طعن أمام محكمة النقض على حكمين قضائيين صدرا ضده بالحبس، أحدهما يستوجب النفاذ منذ تاريخه بمعاقبته بالحبس لمدة شهر، والحكم الآخر بمعاقبته بالحبس سنة مع إيقاف التنفيذ في سب وقذف رئيس الأهلي.

وعلم “بطولات”، أنه تقرر تكليف سليمان وهدان عضو مجلس إدارة الزمالك برئاسة النادي خلفًا لمرتضى منصور، بعد انتهاء اجتماع مجلس الإدارة الذي عقد اليوم.

يذكر، أن فريق الكرة بالزمالك قد سقط في فخ الهزيمة أمام الترجي التونسي بثنائية نظيفة في دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

علق أحمد حسام ميدو المدير الفني لنادي الإسماعيلي، على خسارة فريق الزمالك أمام شباب بلوزداد الجزائري في المباراة الافتتاحية لدور المجموعات بدوري أبطال إفريقيا.

الزمالك خسر على ملعبه ووسط جماهيره بهدف دون رد أمام شباب بلوزداد، في الجولة الأولى من مواجهات المجموعة الرابعة للبطولة الإفريقية.

وقال ميدو خلال تصريحات لبرنامج “الريمونتادا” المذاع على قناة “المحور”: “مباراة الزمالك أمام شباب بلوزداد لقاء سيء وعدم نفاذ تذاكر مباراة سموحة والزمالك دليل قاطع أن جماهير الفارس الأبيض غاضبة وحزينة من عدم قتال لاعبي الفريق”.

وتابع: “لاعبو الزمالك إذا كان لديهم حجز ترفيهي لمدة ساعتين في استاد القاهرة، سيلعبون بروح أفضل من ذلك، هناك حالة غير طبيعية”.

وواصل: “الزمالك الفريق الوحيد الذي خسر على ملعبه في دوري أبطال إفريقيا، لا يوجد رد فعل من اللاعبين في المباريات”.

Aos 29 anos, Joao Robin Rojas Mendoza chega ao São Paulo já entre os titulares, e surpreso. E já avisou que gosta de driblar, assim como Lucas, Kaká e Pato, suas referências ao falar do Tricolor.

– Quando vieram rumores que eu podia ser contratado pelo São Paulo, não acreditei. Lucas (do Tottenham) é o jogador que mais gosto, não perco uma partida dele. Kaká e Pato também passaram por aqui. Eu e minha família estamos muito felizes. Decidi sem pensar. Vou aproveitar ao máximo – disse o meia-atacante, que assinou por dois anos, renováveis por mais dois.

Rojas chega a pedido do técnico Diego Aguirre para substituir Marcos Guilherme, que ficou sem contrato com o clube foi para a Arábia Saudita. Revelado pelo Universitario, o equatoriano foi eleito o melhor jogador jovem do seu país em 2008 e 2009 e passou ainda pelo Emelec antes de jogar no México por Morelia e Cruz Azul e estava no Talleres, da Argentina, há um ano. Esteve na seleção que disputou a Copa do Mundo em 2014.

– Para mim, é muito importante saber que o treinador estava me observando e me chamou para jogar aqui. Fui pego de surpresa. Fiquei feliz por vir jogar aqui no Brasil. Há muitos jogadores com muito talento. Tenho que levar da melhor maneira e dar o meu máximo em cada partida. Estou um pouco nervoso para a estreia. Vou jogar da melhor maneira contra o Flamengo – apontou, já pensando no jogo desta quarta-feira, no Maracanã.

Ao longo de sua entrevista coletiva, Rojas se mostrou bem-humorado. A única pergunta que disse não ter entendido foi exatamente a que questionava por que ele não foi bem na última temporada, na Argentina, e acabou ajudado por uma tradução em espanhol de Bruno Peres, lateral-direito também apresentado nesta segunda-feira.

Nas temporadas em que me sobressaí no México, creio que foi porque tive um treinador com outro esquema. Fiquei muito tempo no México e troquei de estilo. Na Argentina, é um futebol forte. É outra classe de jogo, outro estilo. Tem muita diferença. Mudar é bom.

Já chegar como titular
