A big update has emerged regarding Newcastle United and their interest in Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson.

What’s the talk?

According to The Independent, the Magpies are scheduled to hold talks with the player’s representatives ahead of the summer, along with Leicester and Villarreal.

Brentford and Everton are also interested in the gem and are hoping to snap him up for a fee in the region of £20m-£25m. He has one year left on his contract with the Championship club and his agency – including his father – wants him to make the step up to the Premier League next season.

He has been in phenomenal form for Forest in the Championship this season and has shown that he has the potential to make the step up to the Premier League next term.

Ex-Forest striker Glenn Murray showered the youngster with praise earlier this season, saying: “For me, Brennan, he just looks special. He just looks a cut above and he’s destined for the top.

“Yes, he’s not getting everything right at the moment but he looks at the top-level easily. I expect a really big future from him.”

In the current Championship campaign, Johnson has produced 15 goals and 10 assists for Steve Cooper’s team. This shows that he has been able to make a big impact in the final third as he has consistently delivered with the ball at his feet, scoring and setting up goals on a regular basis.

At the age of 20, he is still in the infancy of his professional career. He is just getting started and should have plenty of scope left to grow and develop as a player. This means that he would be a sublime long-term signing for the Magpies, as they would be able to watch his improvement over time and benefit from it on the pitch as he hones his skills.

Newcastle fans will surely be buzzing with the club’s efforts to bring such a talented and promising young player to the club. St James’ Park would be rocking with excitement if PIF can get a deal over the line for the 20-year-old, and that is why the Magpies hierarchy must work hard to snap him up in the coming months.

أشاد أحمد حسام ميدو لاعب الزمالك ومنتخب مصر السابق، بتصريحات جياني إنفانتينو رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا”، ردًا على الشائعات ضد قطر، قبل انطلاق منافسات كأس العالم 2022.

وتنطلق منافسات بطولة كأس العالم 2022، لأول مرة في الشرق الأوسط، وتستضيفها دولة قطر في الفترة من 20 نوفمبر وحتى 18 من ديسمبر المُقبل.

واتهم جياني إنفانتينو، الدول الغربية بالنفاق بسبب حملات الانتقاد والمقاطعة لبطولة كأس العالم 2022 في قطر بالأيام القليلة المقبلة (طالع التصريحات كاملة من هنــــــا).

وكتب ميدو عبر حسابه الرسمي بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر”: “اليوم فقط أحترم إنفانتينو مرة أخرى.. بكلماته اليوم احترم كرة القدم”.

وأضاف: “رئيس الفيفا يجب أن يكون ممثلًا لكل دول العالم التي تمارس اللعبة، وليس تابعًا للغرب فقط!!”.

يذكر أن منتخب قطر سيواجه نظيره الأكوادور، غدًا الأحد، في افتتاحية كأس العالم 2022، في تمام الساعة السادسة مساءً بتوقيت مصر، السابعة بتوقيت السعودية وقطر.

O departamento de futebol de base do Guarani está passando por mudanças. O Bugre informou que o técnico Angelo Foroni, do sub-20, foi demitido e que um novo modelo de direção foi criado. Houve troca de comando em todas as equipes de base, desde o sub-15.

As transformações estão relacionadas com o processo deterceirização do futebol do Bugre. Empresas interessadas em participar da gestão devem assumir não apenas o elenco profissional, mas também a base. Para as empresas parceiras, o clube analisa a confecção de um contrato de no mínimo cinco anos.

No clube desde fevereiro de 2015, Angelo Foroni, técnico na Copa SãoPaulo deste ano, deixou o cargo. Márcio Zanardi será o novo treinador dosub-20, ele já dirigiu as bases de Portuguesa e o Corinthians. Para o sub-17, o Guarani promoveu o ex-lateral-esquerdo Chiquinho, que trabalhava no Projeto Bugrinho. No sub-15, otécnico será Zé Maria, que já defendeu Capivariano e SEV Hortolândia.

A vice-presidência do clube será dividida com dois integrantes do Conselho de Administração, Assis Eurípedes e Carlos Queiroz. O superintendente do time principal, Luciano Dias, também vai acumular o cargo na base, como dita o estatuto do clube. A função de coordenador técnico será de Renato Morungaba, enquanto José Antônio de Luca será coordenador administrativo. Os diretores Gustavo Rosolen e Jair Ortolan e o supervisor Cláudio da Silva vão completar o quadro.

Now the decision has been taken that he will not be able to resume playing at all this summer.”Whist Andrew has made significant progress, the combined opinion is that he is not quite ready for a return to cricket,” Mike Watkinson, Lancashire’s cricket director, said. “He will continue his rehabilitation into the winter months and we will constantly monitor and review his progress so that he is better equipped for a return to action.”This latest setback means he won’t be fit to take part in the Champions League Twenty20 in South Africa during September after he’d been named in Chennai Super Kings’ provisional squad for the tournament. There must also be serious doubts over his winter plans which had been expected to included Twenty20 spells in Australia and New Zealand before next year’s IPL.Flintoff underwent knee surgery two days after England regained the Ashes last August and initially aimed to be ready for the start of the season. That chance now appears to have vanished although there was already a growing feeling that Andy Flower had moved on without Flintoff.
